Taliban commander detained in W. Afghanistan

KABUL, Feb. 20 (Xinhua) -- A Taliban local commander named Mullah Abdullah has been arrested in Afghanistan's western Herat province, local news agency AVA reported Tuesday.

According to the news agency, Abdullah was arrested from Kahsan district on Monday and police had discovered 28 pieces of telecommunication radio sets, pistols and some more documents used in subversive activities.

Taliban militants have not commented on the report. Enditem
