Kuwait calls for boosting security cooperation with Iraq

KUWAIT CITY, Feb. 19 (Xinhua) -- Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior Undersecretary Mahmoud Al-Doseri on Monday called for boosting security cooperation with Iraq, the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) said.

He made the remarks during a meeting with Iraq's Ambassador to Kuwait Alaa Al-Hashemi, KUNA said.

At the meeting Mahmoud Al-Doseri discussed security issues with Iraqi ambassador, underlining deep relations with the neighbouring country.

They also discussed Kuwait's humanitarian role in the region and the conference on the reconstruction of Iraq, held in Kuwait on Feb.12-14.

Al-Hashemi thanked Kuwait leadership and people for their support of his country, KUNA said. Enditem
