ABUJA -- Nigeria's army chief Tukur Buratai on Sunday ordered troops to capture the leader of terror group Boko Haram, alive or dead.

Buratai said it has come to the end of the military operation aimed at clearing remnants of Boko Haram from their stronghold in the northeast region, except the capturing of Abubakar Shekau, who is both the spiritual head and supreme commander of the terror group. (Nigeria-Boko Haram)

LONDON -- A minor earthquake has struck southwest Britain Saturday, reported local media.

MUNICH, Germany -- A senior Chinese diplomat said Saturday that China is committed to the principle of non-first-use of nuclear weapon, expressing concerns about the danger of nuclear development at present at the ongoing Munich Security Conference (MSC).

"China maintains a very small nuclear arsenal, and China follows the policy of self-defense and minimum deterrence," said Fu Ying, a veteran diplomat and now chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature. NEW DELHI -- Rescuers in India's western state of Rajasthan Sunday continued their search in the debris of a collapsed building and retrieved nine more bodies, taking death toll to 18, officials said.

The building collapse was triggered after two cooking-gas cylinder exploded Friday night during a marriage function at Beawar town of Ajmer district, about 185 km west of Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. (India-Collapsed Building)

TEHRAN -- An Iranian passenger plane crashed into the Dena mountain on Sunday morning and all the 66 people on board were killed, Abed Zadeh, Chief of the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran confirmed.

The ATR-72 aircraft belonging to Iran Aseman Airlines had taken off from the capital at 08:00 a.m. local time (0330 GMT) but crashed near Bideh village of the central city of Semirom. (Iran-Plane Crash) Enditem
