SAN FRANCISCO -- U.S. aeroplane manufacturer Boeing Company said that its new 737 MAX-9 aircraft has been certified by the Federal Aviation Administration for commercial service.

Boeing said in a statement that the amended type certificate issued by the U.S. aviation regulator affirms that the airplane's handling, systems and overall performance all comply with required aviation regulations. (US-Boeing-Plane)

NEW YORK -- Over 10,000 spectators are expected to flood the Flushing Chinatown, one of the largest and fastest-growing ethnic Chinese enclaves in New York City (NYC), to watch the colorful Lunar New Year parade on Saturday.

NEW DELHI -- The death toll from cooking gas cylinder blasts during a marriage function in India's western state of Rajasthan Saturday rose to nine, officials said.

MEXICO CITY -- Thirteen people were killed after a military helicopter crashed in southern Mexico following an earthquake in the region, prosecutors in Oaxaca State said Saturday.
