1st LD: Garbage station fire kills nine in China

GUANGZHOU, Feb. 17 (Xinhua) -- Nine people died and one is injured in a garbage station fire on Saturday in Qingyuan City, south China's Guangdong Province, local police said.

The fire occurred after midnight on Saturday at a garbage station in Shijiao township of Qingcheng district. The fire has been put out, and the injured has no life-threatening injuries, district police said. Enditem
