Indian markets open higher

MUMBAI, Feb. 16 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets opened higher Friday. Equity benchmarks extended previous day's gains on last day of the week, with the Sensex rising around 150 points, tracking positive global cues.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex opened at 34,447.12, 149.65 points or 0.48 percent up compared to its previous close at 34,297.47. Enditem
