German shares close flat Thursday

FRANKFURT, Feb. 15 (Xinhua) -- German stocks closed flat on Thursday, with the benchmark DAX index up 7.01 points, or 0.06 percent, to close at 12,346.17 points.

Marketplace organizer for the trading of shares and securities Deutsche Boerse group won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 2.04 percent.

European mass media company ProSiebenSat.1 and Commerzbank rose by 1.54 percent and 1.39 percent respectively.

Energy group RWE lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 2.39 percent. Airlines Lufthansa and energy group E.ON went down by 1.84 percent and 1.58 percent respectively.

Automotive manufacturer Daimler was the most-traded share with a turnover of 334.98 million euros (418.49 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
