Indian markets open higher

MUMBAI, Feb. 15 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets opened higher Thursday. Benchmark indices as well as broader markets gained around half a percent each, following positive lead from global peers.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex opened at 34,301.68, 145.73 points or 0.47 percent up compared to its previous close at 34,155.95. Enditem
