Bulgarian GDP up 3.6 pct in Q4

SOFIA, Feb. 14 (Xinhua) -- Bulgaria's gross domestic product (GDP) expanded by 3.6 percent year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2017, the highest rate in the past four years, official data showed on Wednesday.

According to flash estimates released by the country's National Statistical Institute (NSI), the GDP at current prices was 27.9 billion Bulgarian lev (17.6 billion U.S. dollars).

Exports and imports of goods and services increased by 2.0 percent and 9.4 percent respectively compared with the same period last year, the NSI figures showed. Enditem
