Spanish shares drop 1.23 pct Tuesday

MADRID, Feb. 13 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares lost on Tuesday, with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 down 1.23 percent, or 120.40 points, to 9,650.70 points.

A total of 27 of the selected 35 large companies lost in the day.

Infrastructure company ACS lost 3.34 percent, followed by renewable energy company Siemens Gamesa and Spain's third largest bank Caixabank that went down 2.78 percent and 2.33 percent respectively.

Steel manufacturing corporation ArcelorMittal advanced 2.27 percent, being the top gainer of the day. Real estate company Inmobiliaria Colonial was up 0.81 percent and technology solutions provider Amadeus went up 0.62 percent respectively. Enditem
