German shares lose 0.7 pct Tuesday

FRANKFURT, Feb. 13 (Xinhua) -- German shares lost on Tuesday, with the benchmark DAX index down 86.27 points, or 0.70 percent, to close at 12,196.50 points.

German semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies lost the most among the blue chips, down by 2.49 percent, followed by Deutsche Bank and energy group E.ON, which lost 2.43 percent and 2.28 percent respectively.

German airlines Lufthansa and energy group RWE were the only two winners, rising 1.21 percent and 0.03 percent respectively.

German multinational software corporation SAP was the most traded share of the day with a turnover of 269.85 million euros (332.80 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
