ISTANBUL, Feb. 13 (Xinhua) -- At least 10 illegal immigrants, including children, went missing on Tuesday when their boat capsized in Evros River in northwestern Turkey, local media reported.

According to broadcaster CNNTurk, the illegal immigrants were trying to reach Greece from Turkey's Edirne Province, but their boat overturned because of a strong current early in the morning.

Some Turkish soldiers in the area heard a woman shouting out "save my child," the report said.

The rescue team has only found some pieces of clothes believed belonging to the illegal immigrants, it added. Enditem
