Qatar celebrates national sports day

DOHA, Feb. 13 (Xinhua) -- Qatar kicked off its 7th national sports day on Tuesday morning, the Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported Tuesday.

Qatari Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and Sheikha Moza bint Nasser (Emir's mother) participated in the activities, along with citizens and residents.

All Qatari ministries, organizations and institutions participated in the event, which aims to raise awareness of the importance of sport. Enditem
