Dollar changes hands in upper 108 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, Feb. 13 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed in the upper 108 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Tuesday, predominantly unchanged from its levels in New York overnight.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 108.69-70 yen compared with 108.59-69 yen in New York at 5 p.m. Monday.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.2300-2302 dollars and 133.68-70 yen against 1.2287-2297 dollars and 133.47-57 yen in late Monday afternoon in New York.

Japanese markets were closed on Monday for a national holiday. Enditem
