German shares gain 1.45 pct Monday

FRANKFURT, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) -- German stocks rose on Monday, with the benchmark DAX index up 175.29 points, or 1.45 percent, to close at 12,282.77 points.

All of the 30 German blue chips gained in the day.

Deutsche Bank won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 5.78 percent. Manufacturing and electronics company Siemens and energy group RWE rose by 4.12 percent and 4.04 percent respectively.

Deutsche Bank was the most-traded share, with a turnover of 368.04 million euros (451.32 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
