Spanish shares gain 1.36 pct Monday

MADRID, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares gained on Monday, with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 up 1.36 percent or 131.50 points, to 9,771.10 points.

A total of 33 of the selected 35 large companies gained in the day.

Media company Mediaset advanced 4.42 percent, followed by electricity company Endesa and energy company Gas Natural that rose 3.25 percent and 2.69 percent respectively.

Motorways operator Abertis A went down 0.26 percent and telecommunication company Cellnex lost 0.18 percent. Enditem
