KUNDUZ, Afghanistan -- Police in northern Afghanistan's Kunduz province have arrested seven people on charge of the involvement in drug trafficking, a senior police official Waisudin Talash said Monday.
All the arrested men involved in drug trafficking and criminal activities, the official said, had been referred to concerned authorities for further investigation. (Afghanistan-Drug)

NEW DELHI -- At least eight people were killed and two others injured early Monday after a vehicle which they were travelling in plunged into a river in India's eastern state of Jharkhand, police said.

NEW DELHI -- Indian aviation authorities have launched a probe after a mid-air collision between two passenger planes was averted near Mumbai.
