Chinese shares close higher at midday

BEIJING, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) -- China's major stock indices closed higher in the morning session Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.8 percent to end at 3,155.02 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index rose 2.61 percent to end at 10,262.10 points. Enditem
