Alpine skiing women's giant slalom postponed due to wind at PyeongChang Winter Olympics

PYEONGCHANG, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) -- The alpine skiing women's giant slalom of PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games scheduled for February 12 at Yongpyong Alpine Center has been postponed due to high wind and the weather forecast, the organizing committee announced on Monday.

The event will be staged on Thursday February 15 at 09:30.

Also on Monday, snowboard women's slopestyle final has been delayed due to bad weather. The delay is expected for at least 60 minutes. Enditem
