Urgent: Magnitude-6 quake hits off Mariana Islands -- USGS

BEIJING, Feb.12 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale jolted Northern Mariana Islands Monday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The quake, which occurred at 09: 14 a.m. local time (2314 GMT Sunday), centered at 13.8056 degrees north latitude and 146.4109 degrees east longitude, with a depth of 10 km. Enditem
