Jordan's king due to visit Russia to boost bilateral ties

AMMAN, Feb. 11 (Xinhua) -- King Abdullah II of Jordan will hold a summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday in Moscow during an official visit to Russia, the state-run Petra news agency reported.

Talks between the two leaders will focus on bilateral ties and latest regional and international developments, especially those related to Syria and the peace process as well as efforts to combat terrorism.

Meanwhile, King Abdullah sent a cable of condolences to Putin on Sunday in which he voiced condolences over the victims of a passenger plane crash in Russia. Enditem
