Peiffer of Germany wins men's biathlon 10km sprint at PyeongChang Olympics

PYEONGCHANG, Feb. 11 (Xinhua) -- Arnd Peiffer of Germany won the men's biathlon 10 km sprint of the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games at the Alpensia Biathlon Center here on Sunday.

Peiffer put on a flawless display of shooting to finish the sprint in 23 minutes and 38.8 seconds.

Michal Krcmar of the Czech Republic took the silver and Italy's Dominik Windisch got the bronze. Enditem
