NAIROBI, Feb. 11 (Xinhua) -- The following are the news highlights in Kenyan media outlets on Sunday.

-- Security agencies are set to intensify the crackdown on opposition politicians and players who played a role in the mock swearing-in of National Super Alliance leader Raila Odinga on Jan. 30.

Revelations of the plan that includes using special police elite teams involve getting search warrants to not only raid homes but also using as much force as possible to cause maximum damage. The government has assembled a team of officers drawn from the flying squad and special crimes unit. Opposition politicians are, however, expected to put up a fight, including seeking protection from courts. (Sunday Nation)
