1st LD: Suspect arrested for knife attack in Beijing shopping mall

BEIJING, Feb. 11 (Xinhua) -- Police have caught the suspect in a knife attack that injured an unknown number of people at a shopping mall in downtown Beijing Sunday.

The attack happened around 1 p.m. at Joy City in the commercial area of Xidan, Xicheng District, police said.

The injured have been taken to hospital, but their condition remains unknown.
