Czech Republic leads 2-0 over Switzerland in tennis Fed Cup

PRAGUE, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) -- Czech tennis team leads 2-0 over the Swiss team on the first day in the tennis Fed Cup 1st round played in Prague on Saturday.

Czech players Petra Kvitova and Barbora Strycova won both of the two singles matches as Kvitova beat Swiss Viktoria Golubic 6-2, 1-6, 6-3 while Strycova beat Swiss Belinda Bencic 6-2, 6-4.

On Sunday, Kvitova will meet Belinda Bencic and Strycova will fight Viktorija Golubic. If the two teams tie in the singles games, they would play the final doubles match. Enditem
