ANKARA -- A Turkish military helicopter crashed on Saturday in Syria's northwestern city of Afrin, leaving two soldiers killed, Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said.

SEOUL -- South Korean President Moon Jae-in dismissed a call by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to quickly resume the U.S.-South Korea joint military exercises, local media reported on Saturday.

JALALABAD, Afghanistan -- Two militants of the Islamic State (IS) group were killed in a drone strike launched by NATO and U.S.-led coalition forces in Afghanistan's eastern province of Nangarhar, the provincial government said Saturday.
