9 killed in bus crash in southern Turkey

ANKARA, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) -- At least nine people were killed, four more injured after a minibus on Saturday crashed into a truck in Turkey's southern province of Kahramanmaras, local Dogan News Agency reported.

The accident took place in Besoluk region on the Kahramanmaras-Kayseri highway early on Saturday.

A large number of ambulances, firetrucks and police rushed to the scene of the accident. The injured were immediately transferred to hospitals nearby.

An investigation into the accident was launched by the provincial prosecutor. Enditem
