CAPE TOWN, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) - The following are news items in South African major news outlets on Saturday.

-- President Jacob Zuma and African National Congress President Cyril Ramaphosa will "conclude" their discussion on Zuma's exit as head of state within the next 48 hours, after which the outcome will be announced to the nation.

Reliable ANC sources confirmed on Friday that the negotiations with Zuma concerned "cosmetic" issues like the payment of his legal fees after leaving office and security for him and his family. (News24)

-- President Jacob Zuma and African National Congress President Cyril Ramaphosa have been discussing the final details of an agreement that will see Zuma's exit.

While there has been no official confirmation on the outcome of the talks so far, it's understood that a few outstanding issues have been under discussion. (Eyewitness News)

-- The African National Congress said on Friday it wants South Africans to appreciate that the party is dealing with a difficult issue.
