Qatar condemns terrorist attack in Libyan's Benghazi

DOHA, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) -- Qatar strongly condemned the terrorist attack that took place in the Libyan city, Benghazi Friday, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported Saturday.

In a statement, Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the brutal bombings as a heinous act, and reiterated the country's firm stance on the rejection of violence and terrorism.

Qatar also expressed its condolences to the families of the victims, the government and the people of Libya, the statement said.

on Friday, Twin bomb blasts struck a mosque in Benghazi which is controlled by the forces of military strongman Khalifa Haftar., killing at least one person and wounding 149.

Libya has been wracked by violence and divisions since Muammar Gaddafi was toppled and killed in 2011. Enditem
