Tibet Airlines adds flights for holiday travel rush

LHASA, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) -- Tibet Airlines has added flights for Chunyun, China's Spring Festival travel rush, to meet the increasing demand, the company has said.

An extra daily round-trip flight between Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan Province, and Nanjing, capital of east China's Jiangsu Province, was available from Feb. 9 to March 12, the company said Friday.

The round-trip flight between Chengdu and Lijiang of southwest China's Yunnan Province, which was run every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, will be available every day starting Saturday.

The Spring Festival, or the Chinese Lunar New Year, falls on Feb. 16 this year. The 40-day holiday travel rush started on Feb. 1. Enditem
