Urgent: IOC President speaks highly of China's preparation for 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics

PYEONGCHANG, Feb. 9 (Xinhua) -- Thomas Bach, president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), spoke highly of China's preparations for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics on Friday.

He made the remarks in a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping's special envoy Han Zheng, in which he also expressed his belief that China would deliver a green, clean, high-tech and sustainable Winter Olympics. Enditem
