French shares drop 1.41 pct on Friday

PARIS, Feb. 9 (Xinhua) -- French shares lost on Friday, with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 down 1.41 percent, or 72.47 points, to close at 5,079.47 points.

Oil and gas firm Technipfmc tumbled 3.48 percent, the top loser of the blue chips. French concessions and construction company Vinci was down 3.35 percent. French multinational pharmaceutical company Sanofi edged down 2.61 percent.

French cosmetics company l'Oreal advanced 0.32 percent, the top gainer of the day. French alcoholic beverages producer Pernod-Ricard gained 0.08 percent. Enditem
