SEOUL -- A plane carrying a high-ranking delegation of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) arrived at a South Korean airport on Friday, local TV footage showed.

NEW DELHI -- India's fair trade watchdog has fined global internet search giant Google 21 million U.S. dollars over competition abuse.

The Competition Commission of India imposed the fine on Google Thursday for "infringing anti-trust conduct" by abusing its dominance and biased search practices in the country on complaints filed by a matrimonial website and a non-profit body in 2012. (India-Google-Fine)

HONG KONG -- Hong Kong stocks fell sharply on Friday morning, tracking losses on Wall Street overnight.

ISLAMABAD -- Chairman of European Union (EU) Military Committee General Michail Kostarakos has held talks with Pakistani civil and military leaders on defense cooperation with special focus on counter-terrorism efforts, officials said.

The EU military chief met Defense Minister Khurram Dastgir Khan in the garrison city of Rawalpindi and also called on the Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the military headquarters, official statements said on Thursday. (Pakistan-EU-Meeting)
