German shares lose 2.62 pct Thursday

FRANKFURT, Feb. 8 (Xinhua) -- German shares lost on Thursday, with the benchmark DAX index down 330.14 points, or 2.62 percent, to close at 12,260.29 points.

All of the 30 German blue chips lost Thursday. Airlines Lufthansa lost the most among the blue chips, down by 5.72 percent, followed by semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies and European health care company Fresenius SE, which lost 4.76 percent and 4.66 percent respectively.

Manufacturing and electronics company Siemens was the most traded share of the day with a turnover of 455.21 million euros (557.72 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
