ADDIS ABABA, Feb. 8 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Ethiopia's major media outlets on Thursday.

-- The Ethiopian Aviation Academy (EAA) ranked among the top world aviation training centers.

The Academy got the recognition by Aviation Voice, a global aviation news provider engaged in ranking of aviation training centers all over the world, a press release from EAA said. (Ethiopian News Agency/ENA)

-- The House of People's Representatives has appointed Ambassador Samia Zekaria as Chairperson of the National Electoral Board of Ethiopia. (Fana Broadcasting Corporate/FBC)
