Indian markets close higher

MUMBAI, Feb. 8 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets closed higher Thursday, rallying over 300 points on continued buying by domestic funds and recovery in the rupee amid higher Asian markets.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 34,413.16, 330.45 points or 0.97 percent up compared to its previous close at 34,082.71. Enditem
