Chinese shares close mixed at midday

BEIJING, Feb. 8 (Xinhua) -- China's major stock indices closed mixed in the morning session Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 1.50 percent to end at 3,259.70 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index edged up 0.80 percent to end at 10,329.23 points. Enditem
