chinagate.cn,February 08, 2018 Adjust font size:

At first glance, no one would think that Xiao Jia has impaired vision.

At age 14, she was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa. Within one year, she lost her sight. After graduating from a school for the visually impaired, she did jobs typically reserved for the visually impaired in China, namely massage and fast record, but the lack of prospects left her discouraged.

In 2015, Xiao read a magazine article about a visually impaired British girl who learned to do her makeup by herself. Around the same time, she learned to put on makeup from a beauty consultant from Mary Kay, and decided she wanted the same job. After two attempts, she passed the company’s test and became an agent.
