SEOUL -- Kim Yo Jong, the sister of top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong Un, will come to South Korea later this week to attend the South Korea-hosted Winter Olympics, Seoul's unification ministry said Wednesday.

The DPRK notified South Korea earlier in the day of the list of its high-ranking delegation, which will be led by Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly.

Kim Eui-kyeom, spokesman for South Korean President Moon Jae-in, told a press briefing that the composition of the DPRK delegation showed its will to ease tensions on the peninsula while congratulating the winter sports event. (South Korea-DPRK-PyeongChang Winter Olympics)

FRANKFURT -- Three German parties reached an agreement on a "grand coalition" after tough negotiations, local media reported Wednesday morning.

NEW DELHI -- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's wife Jashodaben was injured in a car-truck collision in the western state of Rajasthan Wednesday, in which one of her relatives was killed and four others sustained minor injuries, police said.

The accident occurred near Katunda area in the state's Chittorgarh district when Modi's wife and her relatives were returning to their homestate of Gujarat from a wedding in Rajasthan on a SUV, Shyam Singh, in-charge of Parsoli police station, told the media. (India-Modi-Wife-Injured)
