Seoul shares end lower

SEOUL, Feb. 7 (Xinhua) -- Seoul shares ended lower Wednesday.

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) tumbled 56.75 points, or 2.31 percent, to settle at 2,396.56 Trading volume stood at 452.55 million shares worth 8.25 trillion won (7.59 billion U.S. dollars).

South Korea's currency finished at 1,086.6 won against the greenback, up 4.9 won from the previous close. Enditem
