4 killed in train accident in Sri Lanka

COLOMBO, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) -- Four people were killed and two others seriously injured when a train collided with a lorry in Angulana, around 16 km away from capital Colombo on Monday, police said.

The train had been on its way to Galle in southern Sri Lanka.

The victims and the injured had been rushed to a nearby hospital.

The accident caused delays along the southern railway line. Police have launched investigations. Enditem
