BEIJING, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) -- Cirque du Soleil, the world-renowned Canadian entertainment company, will perform "Kooza," one of its classic shows, in southern Chinese city of Shenzhen in March.
Kooza combines acrobatics and clown performance. It tells the story of "The Innocent," a melancholy loner who wanders through a strange world, guided by "The Trickster," a charming genius.
Kooza has been performed more than 100 times in Beijing and Shanghai since the circus toured China from October 2017, said the company's executive vice president Jonathan Tetrault.
The team consists of around 120 performers and staff from 18 countries. Since its debut in 2007, Kooza has been staged in 18 countries.
Established in Quebec, Canada in 1984, Cirque du Soleil has performed in more than 450 cities in 60 countries. Enditem
