Dollar changes hands in lower 110 yen range in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 110 yen range in early deals in Tokyo on Monday, largely unchanged from its levels at the end of last week in New York.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 110.03-04 yen compared with 110.14-24 yen in New York and 109.77-78 yen at 5 p.m. on Friday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.2446-2447 dollars and 136.94-98 yen against 1.2449-2459 dollars and 137.16-26 yen in New York and 1.2508-2509 dollars and 137.30-34 yen in late Friday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Enditem
