NEW YORK, Feb. 4 (Xinhua) -- At least two people died and 50 others were injured after an Amtrak passenger train collided with a freight train in the southeastern U.S. state of South Carolina early Sunday morning, media reports said.

The Amtrak train operating between New York and Miami crashed with a CSX freight train at around 2:35 a.m. (0735 GMT) in Cayce, South Carolina, reports quoted Amtrak, the U.S. National Railroad Passenger Corporation, as saying in a statement. Enditem
