Cold front to chill north China

Xinhua,February 04, 2018 Adjust font size:

BEIJING, Feb. 4 (Xinhua) -- Cold fronts will hit north China, as the country's southwestern regions continue to see rain and snow, the national observatory said Sunday.

The National Meteorological Center (NMC) expected temperatures to drop by four degrees Celsius in parts of Inner Mongolia and Shaanxi, as well as northern and western regions in North China from Monday to Wednesday.

The two weaker cold fronts will also bring strong winds to the areas, said the NMC.

It also said that southwest China's Sichuan, Yunnan and Guizhou provinces are expected to see a small amount of snow or sleet, with heavy snowfall expected in some regions.

The NMC has advised residents to take precautions against the cold weather and heavy winds. Enditem
