BEIJING, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale jolted 35km S of Jarm, Afghanistan at 07:07:00 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 191.19 km, was initially determined to be at 36.5432 degrees north latitude and 70.8155 degrees east longitude. Enditem
