WASHINGTON, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) -- U.S. President Donald Trump said in his first State of the Union address on Tuesday that the United States would continue fighting the Islamic State (IS) until the radical group is defeated.

"There is much more work to be done. We will continue our fight until ISIS is defeated," said Trump.

"We continue to have all necessary power to detain terrorists -- wherever we chase them down," said the president when asking for support from the Congress. Enditem
