China's non-manufacturing sector expands faster in January

BEIJING, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- China's non-manufacturing sector expanded at a faster pace in January, the National Bureau of Statistics said on Wednesday.

The non-manufacturing purchasing managers' index came in at 55.3 this month, up from 55 in December.

A reading above 50 indicates expansion, while a reading below reflects contraction. Enditem
