Wizards' All-Star guard Wall to have knee operation

WASHINGTON, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) -- Washington Wizards All-Star point guard John Wall will undergo an operation on his left knee Wednesday, the team announced on Tuesday.

The Wizards said they'd provide a timeline for his return after the procedure, but local media reported that Wall could miss two months. Wall was selected into this season's All-Star Game, but will not play due to his operation.

In spite of his injury, Wall is second on the Wizards in scoring this season, averaging 19.4 points, and is second in the league with 9.3 assists per game. Enditem
