Spanish shares drop 1.21 pct Tuesday

MADRID, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares lost on Tuesday, with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 down 1.21 percent or 127.40 points, to 10,428.20 points.

Among the 35 selected large companies, 32 lost in the day, with the gas natural infrastructure company Enagas biggest loser, losing 3.75 percent. It was followed by Spain's fourth largest bank Bankia and energy company Gas Natural that lost 2.74 percent and 2.58 percent respectively.

Renewable energy company Siemens Gamesa rose 3.84 percent, being the top gainer of the day. Engineering and infrastructure company Tecnicas Reunidas advanced 0.40 percent and airport operator AENA was up 0.06 percent. Enditem
